OUR JOURNEY

RECLAIMING
A LEGACY

The journey of the Six Brothers -
Khurshedji, Faramroze, Rustomji, Kuvarji, Nanabhoy and Jehangirji
can be traced back to 1885 with the birth of the first brother.

Our founders' unbridled passion for fine spirits led them
on an ambitious journey of setting up India's first distillery dedicated
to the commercial production of luxury Indian Mahura spirits,
way back in 1922, sought after by the royalty of yesteryears.

As pioneers, the Six Brothers developed artisanal techniques
to extract its true character.

The distillery was swift enough to pick up the nuances
of this unique spirit and distil it in its own signature style, resulting in a
certain smoothness never experienced before.

The exquisite Mahura spirit caught the fancy of the
Maharaja of Jawhar and the Maharaja of Akkalkot, who invited
the Six Brothers to set up distilleries in their princely states in the 1920s.

Acting upon the invitations, the Six Brothers expanded their operations
and soon enough, the spirits received a warm welcome in the Royal
Palaces and became the talk of the town, quickly gaining recognition as
a much sought-after spirit among the royals and the locals, alike.

IT TOOK A HUNDRED YEARS AND THE PERSEVERANCE OF FOUR GENERATIONS TO BRING BACK THE SPIRIT OF MAHURA.

Unfortunately, the Six Brothers were forced
to shut down operations, due to prohibition.

After a hundred years, Six Brothers Mahura is poised
to reclaim its legacy, being in the business as the earliest brand
of this heritage spirit, and rightly so.

The family has preserved the art for four generations.

A hundred years later, it's now time to present what is perhaps the
world's best kept secret, in all its glory.

Savour a heritage Indian spirit like no other.
